We hold a number of fundraising events throughout the year to raise vital funds for the on-going repairs within the home but also to provide social events to our Service Users, members and adults with learning disabilities within the community.
Events so far this year have been successful. Over the coming weeks we hope to design a method of displaying monies raised from each event, including sponsorship.
The most recent event was the Great Rotary Wheelbarrow Race on 14th July. This was very successful and raised a huge amount of money and still counting!
We always welcome donations for the following:
- Plants and flowers for the garden
- Furniture, including armchairs
- Electrical equipment
- Soft furnishings
- Food items (excluding meat and fish) such as tins
- packets and jars and fresh fruit and vegetables
- Items for our tombola stall at the Christmas market
- Unused and unopened toiletries
- Unwanted gifts
