The Meadowside Charity

The Meadowside Charity Newton Abbot and District is a small, local charity which supports adults with learning disabilities. The charity owns a residential home in Newton Abbot, as well as providing a number of social events for its members who live in the wider community covering the Teignbridge and Torbay areas.

The Charity is run by a board of trustees and a Chairperson. The board continually fundraises throughout the year to provide financial assistance to it’s members and Service users within its residential home. We provide several social events through-out the year for both our private members and members of the public with a learning disability to enjoy. We rely on fundraising and donations to provide financially towards on-going maintenance and repairs within the residential home and its grounds.
